Sadiq Khan, the former assistant of directors Murugadoss , Lingusamy is donning director's cap for the upcoming Tamil movie ‘Thollaikkatchi’.
Thollaikkatchi is a romantic comedy film with a social message. The debutant director has earlier worked in Aamir khan’s Ghajini and Surya’s Anjaan as second assistant director and assistant director respectively. He has also written and directed 'Vidiyal' a short film in 2010.
Thollaikkatchi is being produced in the banner of Kayalaalaya Movies by Raja Bala Senthil and co-produced by Ram Kumar. Mankatha Fame Ashwin plays the lead role in the movie and Chandini Sreedharan plays the female lead. Lollu sabha Jeeva , Madhumitha, Manobala, Mayilsamy forms the major cast of the film.
Editing of the movie is done by LVK Doss, who did the editing of movies Kumki, Mynaa etc... Music is composed by new generation composer Dharan and art direction is done by Sekar.
